Healing with Animals
Drop In. Take a few deep breaths, clear your head, and drop your awareness into your womb space. Feel your breath here. This is where you want to operate from. Feel your body. Wiggle your toes. Move your hips. Relax your shoulders and your neck. Breathe slowly and deeply. Feel the ground on your feet. Notice the weather. Feel the sun on your skin, the wind on your face, the warmth, the cold. Now imagine dropping your root from the base of your spine into the earth, deeper and deeper. Here you will see and feel other roots all around you, including the root of the animal in front of you. Connect your roots as if you are holding hands. Now bring your awareness to the animal in front of you. Breathe. Stay out of your head. Stay in your womb space and feel the energy. Try to imagine how far the energy field of this animal extends. Are you in their energy field? Is your energy field around them? Try to sense how this animal is reacting to you. Sense how this animal is feeling in this moment. You will know. Trust your gut. It’s immediate. If you are inclined to touch the animal, be gentle. Ask for their permission. You can sense the answer. Listen. Try to imagine what it feels like to be in their body. Is it energetic or tired? Fluid or stiff? Tentative or relaxed? Speak to the animal. Maybe there is something you need to share. Ask the animal a question. Perhaps it is something you want to know about yourself. Guidance? Or maybe you want to know something about this animal. Drop into your belly, ask the question, quiet your mind, and the answer will come. Stay quiet and in your womb space. Breathe. The answers will come, usually right away. Don’t think the answer. Listen. Stay with this animal and receive their messages and their love. Breathe with them. Listen and feel. Trust.
